Med-Kick is seeking someone with excellent communication skills to make semi-sales-related calls to Patients who are eligible for Wellness Programs. These calls will include discussing the Patients' Financial responsibility. This position also requires optimal computer skills

Location: Remote

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Clinical or Health related Experience Preferred
  • MA/CNA Preferred
  • Sales experience highly preferred

Job Summary:

Med-Kick, a leader in remote patient monitoring and chronic care management services, is seeking full-time Enrollment Specialists to join our growing team. As an Enrollment Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, assisting with onboarding patients into our innovative care programs. You'll ensure accurate enrollment, support compliance, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers. This is a unique opportunity to positively impact patient outcomes by streamlining access to vital healthcare services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guide patients through the enrollment process for remote patient monitoring and chronic care management programs.
  • Verify patient eligibility for services in coordination with healthcare providers and insurance partners.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient enrollment, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and federal guidelines.
  • Educate patients and providers on program benefits and device usage.
  • Collaborate with Med-Kick nurses, billing teams, and IT staff to address enrollment issues or system updates.
  • Follow up with patients to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing engagement with monitoring devices.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards for patient enrollment and case management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills to foster trust and engagement with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare environment, including HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality practices.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with technology, including patient management systems and phone systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a high level of organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Appointment Checks

  2. Review scheduling systems daily to identify eligible patients.

  3. Follow established scripts and processes to enroll identified patients.
  4. Track enrollment progress using internal systems.

  5. Eligibility Reviews (PRN)

  6. Work through eligibility data provided on an as-needed basis, following the enrollment process.

  7. Document progress and outcomes using designated systems.

  8. Compliance Calls

  9. Access monitoring platforms to identify patients with non-compliance issues.

  10. Contact patients to encourage device usage and educate them on program benefits.
  11. Log all interactions and time spent manually in the system.

  12. Adherence Calls

  13. Review monitoring data to identify patients at risk of falling below required thresholds.

  14. Conduct calls, send adherence texts, and document actions in internal systems.

  15. Enrollment Process

  16. Conduct patient calls to explain and enroll them into healthcare programs.

  17. Complete and submit enrollment forms and related documentation.
  18. Update patient records across relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  19. Send follow-up communications (texts, emails, or letters) to patients as part of the enrollment process.

  20. Additional Administrative Support

  21. Assist with data entry, compliance checks, and billing preparation as needed.

  22. Provide backup support for team members during absences.
  23. Verify accuracy of data and systems integration to support billing workflows.

OSHA Category:

The role involves minimal exposure to medical environments, with no direct patient care required. Enrollment Specialists must adhere to Med-Kick and client-specific policies, including COVID-19 safety protocols.
