Creative Dining Services at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa is looking for a FOH/Catering team member. The FOH/Catering team member, works within the Dining and Catering Services Department to ensure that a welcoming, clean, sanitized dining room is provided for our guests. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.  Works cooperatively with the Catering Manager to ensure catering services are carried out to customer satisfaction.

 Core Responsibilities:

  • Sets up, serves and cleans up dining room as directed.
  • Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account.
  • Ensures all dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place. Ensures proper lock-up procedures are followed and enforced.
  • Provides customer feedback to Dining Services Supervisor / Director as it is received, including both positive and negative remarks.
  • Assists Catering Manager in providing excellent catering services to our customers.
  • Completes additional tasks requested by the Dining Services Supervisor / Director.

 The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred.
