Our Wholesale Business operates throughout the value chain in the North American wholesale power markets and we are one of the leading wholesale natural gas marketers. Additionally, we provide environmental, congestion management and value added derivative products. With extensive pipeline agreements, we can manage natural gas offtakes, deliveries, capacities and supply anywhere across the continent.

Internship Summary

Successful completion of a summer internship with EDF provides you with the potential to be offered a returning internship or full-time role as a Graduate Rotational Analyst depending on your graduation date and our business need.

Historically, our interns have participated in the following activities:

  • Hands-on participation in actual projects aligning to your goals, resulting in reusable work and streamlined processes for EDF
  • Industry specific and business skills training events, community service, social activities, and opportunities to network with functional leaders
  • Regular assessments and continuous coaching from your manager and mentor
  • End of the summer presentation to leadership team and key stakeholders, demonstrating what you learned in your internship and providing insight on your experience

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or Finance/Accounting
  • Basic MS computer skills: Windows, Office and Excel
  • Basic computation and technical skills, such as SQL, Python, Tableau or similar preferred
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data and draw actionable conclusions
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and/or participation in extracurricular activities preferred
  • Available for a minimum of ten consecutive weeks in Houston
