Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled
Credit Analyst
for a
contract-to-hire
opportunity. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional with
3–5 years of experience
in credit risk analysis, collections, and customer relationship management — particularly in
commercial credit
environments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of
credit assessment tools
,
lien monitoring
, and managing aging reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the
    credit portfolio
    to evaluate risk exposure and ensure appropriate credit limits are maintained
  • Perform
    credit assessments
    for new and existing customers using internal tools and external data sources
  • Monitor and manage
    aging reports
    , identify delinquent accounts, and follow up on overdue invoices
  • Conduct
    lien tracking and monitoring
    for commercial accounts as needed
  • Recommend credit terms and limits based on thorough analysis of financial statements and payment history
  • Support and collaborate with collections team to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
  • Maintain strong, professional
    customer relationships
    , addressing inquiries related to credit terms and billing
  • Utilize credit analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) to support decision-making and reporting
  • Prepare and present credit risk reports to management as needed

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years
    of experience in credit analysis, preferably in a
    commercial
    and/or
    B2B
    environment
  • Proven experience with
    credit assessment, lien tracking, and aging report management
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external customers
  • Experience using ERP systems and credit risk software
  • Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
