Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are accurately priced and that we maintain profitability while meeting client expectations. The Construction Estimator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to develop comprehensive estimates for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Project Documentation: Analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, and plans to determine concrete quantities, scopes, and requirements, including structural elements, formwork, reinforcement, and site preparation.
  • Cost Estimation: Calculate costs for materials (e.g., cement, aggregates, additives), labor, equipment rental, transportation, and overheads, factoring in current market prices, labor rates, and potential risks like site conditions or material fluctuations.
  • Bid Preparation: Develop detailed, competitive bid proposals for construction projects, including quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and assumptions; participate in bid reviews and presentations.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Identify potential challenges, such as design issues or scope changes, and adjust estimates accordingly to mitigate financial risks.
