Position Overview

We are seeking a Real Estate Wholesale Underwriter to join our acquisitions team. The underwriter will analyze potential deals submitted by our lead and follow-up specialists, ensuring that each property meets our investment criteria before we make offers or market contracts.

This role combines data analysis, real estate valuation, and deal evaluation. It is ideal for someone who understands ARV, repair estimates, and investor ROI metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate incoming property leads and determine if they fit the company's buy-box

Run comparative market analyses (comps) using MLS, Zillow, PropStream, or similar tools

Determine After-Repair Value (ARV) and apply 60 to 65 percent rule calculations to find ideal acquisition ranges

Estimate repair costs based on photos, videos, or inspection reports

Provide Maximum Allowable Offer (MAO) recommendations for acquisitions

Collaborate with the Dispositions and Acquisitions teams to ensure deal accuracy before marketing

Maintain underwriting reports and communicate daily deal updates

Monitor market trends and pricing shifts across target metro areas

Qualifications

Strong understanding of real estate wholesaling and investment principles

Experience in deal analysis, property valuation, or real estate underwriting

Proficient with tools such as Zillow, PropStream, BatchLeads, or Privy

Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and consistency

Strong communication and time management skills

Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working remotely

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in acquisitions, dispositions, or real estate investment underwriting

Familiarity with repair estimation, ARV modeling, and investor-style deal structuring

Background in real estate wholesaling, fix-and-flip, or buy-and-hold investing

Compensation

Commission-based, paid per closed deal or per approved lead
