Our client in Rancocas, New Jersey is seeking a Industrial Machinist Mechanic to join their team This is a DIRECT HIRE (not contract to hire) position with a well-established leading manufacturing company. This is a Full Time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. This position offers $75,000 to $80,000 per year based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test product and control software, including PLC and HMI applications
  • Design software systems for industrial automation
  • Specify, set up, and configure hardware components
  • Utilize and support industrial networks such as Profinet and Ethernet/IP
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
  • Train customers on control software and equipment operation
  • Provide customer support and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Department on equipment startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Siemens (Step 7 Classic and TIA Portal) and Rockwell (RS Logix 5000 and Studio 5000)
  • Must have a strong background in automation and control technologies
  • Must have experience in systems such as Distributed Control Software, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and SCADA
  • Must be familiar with C/C++, VB, .NET, SQL, Python and Java
  • Experience with HMI platforms such as InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, and Ignition by Inductive Automation
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage and execute projects independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and vacuum systems is considered a plus.
