We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on grilling techniques. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
  • Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and popular dishes.
  • Participate in inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on grilling techniques and best practices.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a grill cook or similar role within the culinary field.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
  • Experience in menu planning and meal preparation, with an emphasis on grilling.
  • Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Previous experience in dietary departments, catering, or restaurants is highly desirable.
