Better Bagels is a NYC Style bagel shop with 2 locations in Boston. We pride ourselves on having attentive service and fresh bagels that are rolled and baked daily. We service Breakfast, Lunch and catering and are looking for never memebers to help grow our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations and drive sales at our Bagel Shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in food service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience while managing staff, inventory, and store performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, ordering, and cash handling.
  • Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to enhance team performance.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Help Implement effective marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of store presentation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service management or as an assistant manager with a focus on food service management.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred to better serve our diverse customer base.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and administrative tasks related to store operations.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stocking practices.
