Job Description
The Senior Analyst Financial Reporting prepares financial statements for internal and external users. This position collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines

Paid Time Off:

Responsibilities

  • Develops supporting schedules and related documentation in accordance with GAAP to finalize the Company's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assists managing financial system applications such as Workiva and Hyperion (within Oracle Cloud).
  • Utilizes data validation techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability of all reporting.
  • Prepares joint venture financial statements and monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with joint venture agreements.
  • Manages data requests from the external auditors as it relates to the financial statements and other areas
  • Participates in monthly reviews and analytical analysis of financial information.
  • Works with external and internal auditors, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Be knowledgeable in the reporting requirements of the FASB and SEC
  • Hands-on experience applying the provisions of GAAP
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner with team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize among multiple tasks and objectives
  • Ability to demonstrate high integrity, especially in maintaining confidential information
  • Ability to adapt in their performance of job duties according to manager feedback
  • Ability to take ownership of their assigned areas and work with minimal supervision
  • Interest in continuous improvement and optimizing processes
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Workiva is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Hyperion Interactive Reporting/Smart View is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus, but not required

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience is required. Experience at a big four accounting firm preferred.
