Helper/Cleaner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and presentable. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain a high standard of hygiene.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure safety and efficiency.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or collaborating with team members.
• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
