Job Title: Claim Administrator

Location: Onsite, Dallas, Texas

JOB PURPOSE: The position works closely with the Risk Management team to support the administration and maintenance of the company's multifamily property and casualty insurance claims.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by Harbor Group Management Company.

  • Maintain and document multifamily property and casualty claim files.
  • Coordinate TPA deliverables.
  • Collect and prepare claim reports and supplemental documentation required to support claim resolutions.
  • Manage third party claim resolution, subrogation/recovery processes for multifamily properties.
  • Maintain claim reporting mechanisms for first- and third-party claims across the multifamily portfolio.
  • Process and track claim related invoices and payments.
  • Coordinate and schedule both internal and external team meetings.
  • Collaborate on risk management strategies internally and with insurers.

Qualifications Include:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2+ years' experience in property casualty real estate sector preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Must be able to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
