We are partnering with one of our clients a leading
Data Center Developer
who is seeking an experienced
Electrical Engineer
to join their team in
Dallas, Texas
. This role will play a key part in delivering large scale, mission critical data center projects from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Support electrical design coordination and review throughout all project phases.
- Oversee the installation and integration of electrical systems, including MV/LV power distribution, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Monitor on site electrical works, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and code standards.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation related to electrical systems.
- Work alongside MEP disciplines to support full system commissioning and handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of
5 years' experience
in electrical engineering for
data center or mission critical projects
. - Strong technical knowledge of power systems, grounding, and emergency backup infrastructure.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools preferred.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
