ERP Operations Manager (Business Central)

Reports to:
Director of Business Applications

Qorali have partnered up with a client based in Texas who are searching for a Business Central Operations Manager to lead the strategic direction, implementation, and continuous improvement of our ERP systems, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role combines technical leadership, business insight, and team management to support enterprise-wide operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute ERP strategy, vision, and roadmap.
  • Lead ERP implementations, enhancements, and third-party integrations.
  • Manage Business Central upgrades and maintain version control.
  • Develop KPIs to monitor system performance and project success.
  • Collaborate across engineering, development, and business teams.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and third-party developers.
  • Align ERP initiatives with enterprise goals and adjust scope as needed.
  • Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
  • Partner with business leaders to prioritize technology solutions.
  • Provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and resources.
  • Lead and mentor high-performing technical and functional teams.

What do you need to apply?

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central systems
  • Strong critical thinking, project planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Proven leadership in ERP team and project management.
  • Expertise in ERP deployment, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and stakeholder communication.

Preferred:

  • 10+ years as a techno-functional lead with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Experience with at least three full lifecycle ERP implementations.
  • Background in retail manufacturing, Print on Demand (POD), or wholesale.
  • Functional knowledge of all BC modules and PLM systems.
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Six Sigma or APICS certification.
  • Understanding of licensing and royalty structures.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular reviews and support professional growth.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in ERP operations or a similar leadership role.
