Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), and Staff Services Manager II (SSMII), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for the evaluation of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs. The AGPA conducts program evaluations through telephone interviews and on-site visits, and prepares program recommendations for the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) program Statewide to ensure compliance of Labor Code requirements. During evaluations, the AGPA collaborates with DAS consultants to monitor program performance. Additionally, the AGPA supports the SSMI by processing correspondence to program sponsors and obtaining necessary signatures to finalize and complete evaluation documentation.

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Air-conditioned, high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting.
Work hours: Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Currently we have a hybrid setting, two days working in the office.

Question: Describe your experience with program evaluation. In your response, include the types of programs you evaluated, your role in the evaluation process, the methods or tools you used, and how your evaluations contributed to program improvement or compliance.

Must be typewritten, using no smaller than an Arial 12-point font
Must limit to one page.
