The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Mason that are seeking Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software malfunctions in robots. Program and re-program robot paths and logic for new or existing production lines. Install, calibrate, and commission new robotic equipment and cells. Optimize robot performance to improve cycle times, quality, and uptime. Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and company policies. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and programming changes. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field. 2+ years of hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial robots in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and using diagnostic tools. Ability to perform basic robot programming, path adjustments, and teach pendant operations. Strong understanding of PLC logic, HMI operation, and industrial control systems. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and best practices in an industrial environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with robot programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, ROS, or manufacturer-specific languages). Familiarity with industrial vision systems for robot guidance or quality inspection. Understanding of industrial network protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, DeviceNet). Certifications from major robot manufacturers (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Universal Robots).
