Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures. Conduct EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for EHS incidents. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of employees. Manage environmental permits, hazardous waste, and sustainability initiatives. Oversee emergency preparedness and response planning. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs and management systems. Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving EHS performance improvement. Bonus Qualifications Experience integrating EHS into Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives. Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or specialized expertise in chemical management. Demonstrated success in managing EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites. Expertise in industrial ergonomics program development and implementation.
