Payment Claims Analyst

The Claims Payment Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and processing claims payment requests for automotive repairs. This individual determines the appropriate payment amount by validating billing information against authorization details while adhering to internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process claims payment requests for automotive repairs.
  • Determine appropriate payment amounts by validating billing information against authorization information.
  • Utilize multiple computer programs to process claims, review policies and procedures, labor times, and retrieve documents.
  • Process payments to a dealer's statement via check or credit card.
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures.

  • Direct training and guidance of less experienced staff regarding payment policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly grasp and implement new processes and technical enhancements.
  • Flexibility to transition autonomously from one work queue to another as business needs arise.
  • Willingness to work overtime, Saturdays, and holidays as needed.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of the automotive service department process is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role involves a hybrid work schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday working from home, and Tuesday and Wednesday in the office from 9am to 6pm. There is a preference for candidates to sit in the St. Louis office. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of St. Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
