Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a highly skilledTechnical Leadfor a potential opportunity to support IT initiatives at theUS Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, Maryland. The Technical Lead will be responsible for architecting solutions, leading technical execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of mission-critical IT systems. This role requires both strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to present solutions and strategies to Federal leadership. Key Responsibilities
  • ArchitectMicrosoft Power Platformsolutions to meet client requirements.
  • Present technical designs and solution strategies to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
  • Analyze user needs and develop tailored software solutions.
  • Design and customize software for client use with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and design databases within an application area, lead or coordinate database development activities.
  • Supervise and guide technical execution, ensuring high-quality delivery across all development efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experiencein IT solution development and leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Proven experiencedesigning solutions for the Federal Government.
  • Hands-on expertise withMicrosoft Power Platform.
Preferred Skills & Characteristics
  • Strong background in software and database architecture.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior Federal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
