Jump is looking for a Product Manager to integrate its AI platform with industry?leading insurance software (e.g., practice management systems) and optimize the Jump experience for insurance professionals. As the first Insurance PM at Jump, you will define and drive the product roadmap for everything insurance, working with a dedicated team of engineers to turn that roadmap into reality. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new solution area at Jump.
Responsibilities- Define the insurance strategy and roadmap: Identify and prioritize opportunities to integrate Jump with major insurance practice management platforms and other insurance tools, and make other product changes to improve the experience of our insurance professional customers.
- Drive product development: Write clear product requirements for new integration features and insurance innovations. Work day?to?day with design and engineering to clarify specs, make trade?off decisions, and ensure timely, high?quality releases.
- Collaborate cross?functionally and with partners: Work closely with engineers, designers, customer success, and sales to ensure Jumps features for insurance professionals meet user needs. Coordinate with partner companies technical teams when necessary to troubleshoot or enhance integrations.
- Understand our insurance users and iterate with them in mind: Obsess over our insurance customers. Gather feedback on Jumps insurance functionality. Analyze usage data to assess whats working and what can be improved. Iterate.
- Drive adoption and impact: Develop go?to?market plans with Marketing, Customer Success, and CX for launching new integrations. Monitor utilization and drive awareness and usage. Your measure of success is that insurance professionals find our integrations and insurance?specific tools indispensable.
- Domain expertise: background in insurance or accounting software, or significant experience working with insurance professionals.
- Product management experience: 35+ years in product management, ideally building integrations or data?driven features.
- Technical acumen: comfortable diving into APIs, data schemas, and technical documentation; communicate effectively with engineers.
- User?focused & analytical: prioritize decisions based on user research and usage data; use data to inform product improvements.
- Collaborative communicator: excel at cross?functional collaboration; translate between engineers, non?technical stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ownership mentality: thrive in fast?paced environment and take full ownership of product area.
- Outcome?driven: define success in terms of real adoption and value creation.
- Built software for insurance/accounting: experience building integrations with insurance tools in previous role.
- Improved product adoption: driven usage through iteration and user focus.
- Worked with external stakeholders: interacted with external software partners, vendors, or important customers.
- Balanced multiple priorities: managed roadmaps with multiple initiatives, made trade?offs, and adjusted plans.
