Project Manager II (CRO or Life Sciences) - Remote

This is an experienced Project Management position requiring expertise in supporting Biometric deliverables (data management, biostatistics, statistical programming services).

Responsibilities
  • Understand various cost models and develop budgets for moderate complexity projects.
  • Ensure financial KPIs are achieved, invoice on?time, and align with contract payment schedules while updating revenue projections; control project scope via defined PM methodology and change management processes.
  • Develop moderate complexity project timelines independently.
  • Perform advanced functions in MSP; understand task constraints and convey critical path milestones to the functional lead, contributing to strategy for timeline expectations.
  • Execute day?to?day program/project activities including risk identification, issue escalation, and resolution, collaborating with functional line management.
  • Maintain intermediate Excel skills (Hlookup, Vlookup, Pivot Table, etc.).
  • Drive customer satisfaction, strengthen client relationships, develop an account growth plan, and consult with line manager to achieve at least 10% revenue growth annually, managing at least one key account.
  • Participate in or lead RFIs/RFPs with the proposals team; lead at least two capabilities meetings annually.
  • Participate in or lead bid defenses at least once a year.
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and meeting facilitation (scheduling, agenda, minutes).
  • Understand general requirements: ICH, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 9001:2000.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar field.
  • Expert knowledge of scientific principles and concepts.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Hands?on experience with clinical trial and pharmaceutical development preferred.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate.
  • Excellent problem?solving and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards preferred.
  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, FDA, and GCP requirements.
  • Basic understanding of CROs, scientific and clinical data/terminology, and the drug development process.
