Job SummaryThe Project Manager will lead, plan, and deliver large IT projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies. The role involves coordinating with business teams, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful project execution, procurement support, and on?time delivery. The PM will manage project scope, budget, schedules, risks, and communication, following project management standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage large IT projects across the full lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support development of SOWs, RFPs, and project documentation.
- Oversee daily project activities, remove roadblocks, and support team performance.
- Track and communicate schedule, cost, risks, and status.
- Ensure alignment with agency technology strategy and best practices.
- Manage project budgets, plans, resources, and transitions to operations.
- 10+ years managing large IT projects.
- 15+ years overall IT experience.
- Strong experience with SaaS/cloud projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision?making skills.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall.
- Experience with business/technical requirements gathering.
- Knowledge of procurement processes preferred.
- Experience with VITA CTP and ECOS preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS Project, Visio, and MS Office.
PMP certification required.
