Outpatient Physical Therapist

Core Fitness + Physical Therapy | Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Pay: $75,000 - $90,000
Schedule: Afternoons/early evenings (approx. 3:30 - 8:00 p.m.); weekends preferred but not required; open to rotating/part-time coverage.

About Us

Core Fitness + Physical Therapy is a boutique, neighborhood outpatient clinic offering one-on-one, hour-long therapeutic sessions in a Pilates-based environment (reformers, springs). We serve a loyal, local clientele and prioritize high-quality, patient-centered care and the creativity and clinical autonomy that make it possible.

The Role

Youll provide individualized evaluation and treatment in a calm, focused setting7 one-hour patients/day with a 30-minute lunch and 30 minutes of note time built into the schedule. Most cases are outpatient orthopedics (low back, cervical, joint replacements), with opportunities in pelvic health and vestibular care. Were primarily neighborhood cash pay and Blue Cross Blue Shield, with a small number of higher-intensity post-op sports cases.

Schedule Options

  • Primary need: 3:308:00 p.m. weekdays
  • Weekends are a plus (not required)
  • Open to two part-time PTs rotating 34 days on / 34 days off
  • Occasional coverage at our sister location, Core Sport, based on interest and skill
What You'll Do
  • Deliver 1:1, hour-long evaluations and treatments in an outcomes-focused model
  • Build and progress individualized plans of care across ortho/pelvic/vestibular as appropriate
  • Use manual therapy and exercise-based interventions; integrate Pilates apparatus when indicated
  • Document thoroughly and efficiently; complete daily notes within the built-in schedule time
  • Partner closely with patients to sustain engagement through full-hour sessions
What Youll Bring
  • DPT (or MPT) and state PT license in good standing
  • Strong manual therapy skill set
  • Dry needling strongly preferred
    • Note (Illinois): 1 year post-grad + 200 hours supervised DN required; PTAs cannot dry needle
  • Outpatient orthopedics experience; pelvic health/vestibular exposure a plus
  • Pilates experience helpful but not required (on-site training is available)
  • Stamina and presence to manage energy during hour-long 1:1 sessions
  • Collaborative, patient-centered mindset aligned with a boutique practice culture
EMR & Tools
  • Current EMR: Ablebox (one location migrating to Spry)
  • Familiarity with or openness to PT Everywhere preferred
  • Adaptability to different EMR workflows is important
