Job Description

An established manufacturing company is seeking CNC Swiss Lathe Machinists who will be responsible for the set up and operations of the Swiss department and perform intricate and close tolerance machining of small, advanced precision components according to specifications. These are third shift opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operation of all CNC Swiss equipment using Mitsubishi controls
  • Read and interpret blueprints or drawings, geometric tolerances, and the mathematics required to perform the most advanced CNC operations
  • Use a wide variety of measuring devices to inspect components produced
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be ITAR Registered
  • Must have 3 to 5 years experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss Lathe Machines
  • Must have knowledge of Mitsubishi controls
  • Must be able to use a wide variety of measuring devices
  • Must be proficient reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings, geometric tolerances, required mathematics
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and interact in a team environment to complete a variety of tasks
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand 100% of the day
  • Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
