Senior Fund Accountant

We are partnering with a growing real estate development and private equity platform in the Bay Area to help them find a Senior Fund Accountant The successful candidate will be someone with institutional-quality professional skills and a strong entrepreneurial spirit with 3-5 years of fund accounting experience, private equity fund experience and a strong GAAP accounting background.
Location - This is a FULLY REMOTE role and can be located anywhere in the US
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Perform review of monthly operations and reports for the Funds, and each of the Funds' real estate investments, including budget versus actual variance analysis and management of cash flow.
- Quarterly Reporting
- Performance Reporting
- Assist in annual valuation process.
- Tax Compliance
- Prepare invoices, manage loan schedules, and oversee compliance with our stated loan covenants.
- Manage required annual and quarterly tax payments of all entities and foreign LPs.
- Year End Audit, Compliance, and Tax Return Coordination
- Address LPs audit, reporting and diligence requests.
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in fund accounting.
- Private Equity fund experience.
- Strong GAAP accounting background.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Office and knowledge of QuickBooks and the ability to quickly learn new accounting/reporting applications and software.
- Real Estate and Property Management accounting experience is a major plus
- Tax familiarity with pass-through entities is a plus
- Experience with international tax withholding laws on foreign investors
