Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers warmly and provide top-notch service.
  • Accurately scan and process customer purchases in a timely manner.
  • Manage cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
  • Implement discounts, coupons, and promotions when applicable.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges effectively.
  • Carefully bag merchandise to ensure safe handling of purchases.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area for a pleasant shopping environment.
  • Follow all store policies and procedures, including safety measures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in cashiering or customer service is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
  • Proficient in basic math skills.
  • Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Friendly and easily approachable demeanor.
