EXPECTED SALARY RANGE:

  • Senior Level - $117,000 - $143,000

Salary ranges are annual and depend on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package, including bonuses and a 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

You will engage in advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations while serving as a technical resource and expert. Your responsibilities will involve making critical technical decisions and applying your extensive knowledge of engineering principles, industry codes, and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide expert technical guidance for developing, managing, and implementing engineering analysis and activities.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system issues through direct involvement.
  • Lead engineering and technical initiatives that have a significant impact on site operations.
  • Perform designated engineering tasks utilizing established engineering principles.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while adhering to configuration management and standard design practices.
  • Conduct independent research and analysis to support various technical projects and programs.
  • Recommend innovative equipment and techniques to enhance performance, simplify construction processes, reduce costs, or comply with regulatory changes.
  • Fulfill additional job assignments as directed by management, including emergency response duties and support for outage activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Engineer Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
  • Meet minimum unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination or testing as applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Experience with I&C controls.
  • Prior design experience.
