Role: Splunk and Power BI Data Visualization Specialist
Location: Seattle, WA (Remote)
Duration: 6 Month

Job Description:

The services You will provide the Client project team: As a PowerBI Developer Contractor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining PowerBI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Design, develop, and deploy PowerBI reports and dashboards based on project requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize and enhance existing PowerBI solutions for better performance and usability. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data visualization and reporting .Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PowerBI-related issues.
Primary Skill Required for the Role- Splunk

Splunk Dashboarding Experience:
A Splunk Dashboarding professional is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations within Splunk to support real-time monitoring, event tracking, and decision-making. The role focuses on ingesting diverse data sources, building use case-driven dashboards, and enabling actionable insights for clients across cyber security, operations, IT infrastructure, and business analytics domains
2 + years in Splunk, PowerBI, and Dashboarding 2 sub max

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk dashboarding, including Splunk Search
Processing Language (SPL), report creation, and dashboard optimization.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) for data manipulation
• Exposure to IT operations, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructures
• Strong project management or Agile experience
