Delivery Consultant - Migrations & Modernization, WWPS ProServe

Are you ready to take your career to the next level with Amazon Web Services (AWS)? We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Migration Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this pivotal role, you will partner with customers to design, implement, and manage innovative AWS solutions tailored to their technical and business needs.

As a key contributor to our customers' success on their cloud journey, you will leverage your technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Your deep understanding of AWS products and services will enable you to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, ensuring smooth migrations and modernizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing AWS solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout project delivery
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective migration strategies
  • Advising customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Sharing your knowledge through mentoring and creating reusable resources

The AWS Professional Services organization is a renowned global team of experts committed to helping customers achieve their business outcomes on the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to deliver enterprise cloud computing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex network architectures in the cloud
  • Experience with application and/or database migrations to the cloud

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
  • AWS Professional certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional)
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Terraform, Python)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer - Associate certifications
  • Familiarity with AWS migration solutions like AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and AWS DataSync
