JOB TITLE
CNC-MILL Specialist
Responsibilities include: setup, programming, editing and running Haas CNC milling centers. Blueprint reading and computer skills required. First, second and third shift positions available.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Required: High School diploma or GED.
Preferred: Vocational School Certificate
Experience
Required: A minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC-Mill.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Must have strong math skills.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees of varying education levels.
Must be competent at inspecting and precision measuring with the utilization of different measuring devices including but not limited to: micrometers, height gages and indicators.
SPECIFIC DEPARTMENTAL TASKS AND DUTIES
Responsible for showing a strong understanding of the CNC-Mill programming and set up functions. Provides technical support to the CNC-Mill programming and set up functions.
Responsible for working closely with the Dept. Manager to order material/supplies in accordance with the needs and the budget of the company and in keeping with the Company's P.O. system.
Responsible for developing, implementing and on-going supervision of the company's CNC-Mill production process. Ensures each customer job is completed in accordance with the required specifications; within the agreed upon customer delivery timeframe; with high quality workmanship and within budget. Provides technical expertise as needed to assure top quality products.
Responsible for using MDI to create a new CNC-Mill program using G-Codes and M-Codes independently
