Ultrasound Technologist Levels I, II, III

We are looking for qualified candidates for the role of Ultrasound Technologist at various levels (I, II, III). Your placement will depend on your experience and qualifications. Each level plays a crucial role in supporting patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increased responsibilities at higher tiers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ultrasound Technologist I:
  • Perform ultrasound imaging upon order from qualified providers, utilizing high-frequency sound waves in accordance with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Radiology Department protocols.
  • Depending on the assigned site, you may also conduct sonohysterography and/or vascular ultrasound.
  • Utilize the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Patient Archiving System (PACS) for clerical processes.
  • May assist in additional duties as assigned, based on your skills and training.
• Ultrasound Technologist II:
  • All responsibilities of Ultrasound Technologist I.
  • Requires additional experience and/or certification.
• Ultrasound Technologist III:
  • All responsibilities of Ultrasound Technologist I and II.
  • Requires additional experience and/or certification.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program.
• Education sufficient to meet applicant status with the ARDMS or ARRT (S).
• Must have RDMS or RT(R)(S) certification or be a current applicant to ARDMS or ARRT (S) and achieve certification within 1 year of hire. Failure to do so will result in non-compliance with job requirements.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency with computers, including keyboarding and digital image acquisition.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• For Ultrasound Technologist II:
  • Healthcare-related degree.
  • RDMS with 2 specialty registries or RT(R)(S) with a minimum of 2 specialty registries.
  • 1+ years of ultrasound experience, which may include formal ultrasound training with clinical instruction.
  • PACS and RIS experience.
  • Proficient with computers and digital image acquisition.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
• For Ultrasound Technologist III:
  • Healthcare-related degree.
  • RDMS with 2 specialty ultrasound registries and RVT or RVS, or RT(R)(S) with RVT or RVS.
  • 3+ years of ultrasound experience, with a focus on PACS and RIS.
  • 2+ years of ultrasound experience, including clinical training.
  • PACS and RIS experience.
  • High proficiency with computers and digital image acquisition.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.

Our competitive pay ranges from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour for full-time employment, depending on various factors such as local labor markets and individual qualifications.
