Primary Purpose: As a Senior Operational Technology Security Engineer (OTSSE), you will play a crucial role in implementing our Operational Technology (OT) Security Governance program. You will proactively manage cybersecurity risks and collaborate closely with OT teams, Security Architects, and other teams to lead the design and implementation of effective OT security solutions. Your responsibilities will include assisting in vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and security event monitoring. You will ensure compliance with established OT security measures to maintain safety, reliability, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytic and technical security recommendations to technical teams and business clients, including guidance on OT cybersecurity.
- Design OT security specifications and work with stakeholders on implementation plans.
- Develop OT cybersecurity countermeasures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze and resolve OT vulnerabilities, recommending changes to enhance system security.
- Mitigate security deficiencies identified during testing phases and assist in risk acceptance negotiations.
- Ensure security measures support event monitoring and incident response protocols.
- Collaborate with R&D and innovation teams to secure the integration of OT systems into production.
- Conduct training for OT personnel on cybersecurity practices.
Job Scope: The Senior OTSSE will engage closely with business OT teams and other stakeholders to implement security configurations, provide security guidance, and enhance security monitoring. You will actively participate in industry forums and work on documentation for ongoing OT security operations and maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in OT/ICS.
- At least 3 years of experience in the energy sector.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and disaster recovery plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in cybersecurity, engineering, or related area.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GICSP).
- Experience with SCADA, ICS, and Distribution Automation systems architecture.

This is a hybrid position requiring attendance in the office at least three days a week, with specific locations including Baltimore, MD, Newark, DE, Owings Mills, MD, or Kennett Square, PA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
