Logistics Analyst

PGS Worldwide is hiring a Logistics Analyst in Sterling Heights, MI for a 12-month contract-to-hire position. This role supports combat vehicle sustainment programs, focusing on the development of operator and maintenance procedures, logistics data, and technical documentation in compliance with Army and DoD standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and redline engineering drawings
- Understanding of military technical manuals, parts catalogs, and maintenance requirements
- General knowledge of supply data systems, including WebFLIS, PubLog, or Client Haystack
- Working familiarity with MIL-STD-13882B, GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-40051, AR 700-82, AR 750-1, and AR 750-10
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and markup tools
- Understanding of relational databases and structured data input
- Ability to support customer meetings, validations, LSA/LSAR reviews, and in-process reviews
- Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) viewers such as IADS or EMS NG
- Familiarity with Creo and Windchill for viewing 3D models and drawings
- Understanding of logistics design influence and maintenance engineering integration
- Experience with Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Sets Kits and Outfits (SKO), or Unit Level Logistics Systems (ULLS)
- Knowledge of Modified Work Orders (MWOs) and depot-level maintenance
- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex technical data packages (TDPs)
- 4+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or 2+ years with a related associate degree
- Hands-on mechanical or maintenance experience in military or defense systems preferred
- Develop and maintain operator and maintenance procedures using engineering drawings, schematics, vendor data, and manufacturing work instructions
- Create and update Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) data in SLICwave, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD-13882B and GEIA-0007
- Support development of Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), troubleshooting logic trees, and Battle Damage Assessment and Repair (BDAR) tasks
- Collaborate on Technical Publication markups and reviews in accordance with MIL-STD-40051
- Generate and maintain Maintenance Allocation Charts (MACs) and Task Analysis Summaries (LSA-019) per Army Regulation 700-82
- Evaluate and interpret technical data packages for maintenance feasibility and logistics readiness
- Manage and resolve problem reports associated with data discrepancies or configuration changes
- Develop and maintain Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTL) and Provisioning Master Records (PMR)
- Identify and communicate requirements for illustrations and logistics data accuracy
- Track and report Earned Value metrics, status roll-ups, and workflow performance
- Ensure data quality and compliance with Army logistics and configuration management processes
