About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in the consumer products industry, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production operations. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and operating manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Install, adjust, and improve machinery to enhance reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair documentation.
- Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support parts inventory management and communicate equipment needs.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends based on production demands.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications a plus.
- Previous industrial or equipment maintenance experience preferred.
