DCCA is a growing and dynamic company serving as the large prime on a very successful contract, and we are searching for a motivated and energetic Systems Engineer (Level 2). We are looking for someone with strong telecommunications and signals analysis background. You will be working with a large team of highly qualified, skilled and motivated professionals, designing, implementing and testing solutions to address challenges in an evolving landscape. The ideal candidate would meet all requirements and possess one or more of the items in the list of desired knowledge and experience.

Location: Headquarters

The tasks for this position will be focused on testing the integration of GOTS/COTS Machine Learning models into FETS current product line. This position will be focused on quantitative and qualitative testing along with optimizing system performance. These efforts will require characterization of large data sets through some level of automation.

Required

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

• Strong interpersonal, communications and writing skills.

• Basic Linux skills required.

Additional Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience Testing Machine Learning Models

• Experience with Yolo

• Experience with python

• Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzer.

• Knowledge of and experience with scripting languages to process automation.

• Experience installing, monitoring, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters.

• Familiarity / completion of Advanced Communications Signals Analysis Course (452), Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (452).

• Working knowledge of SONET/SDH/OTN, ETHERNET, PCM, VSAT, OSI Model and Computer to Computer (C2C) structure, and/or technologies/protocols such as: MPLS, VLAN, Pseudowire, TDMoIP, ATM, Frame Relay, Cisco, Nortel, TCP, UDP, VCAT, VOIP, VoFR and Voice/Video encoding.

Work Environment: This team works in government spaces and interacts frequently with our customers to understand their requirements, schedules and priorities. This is a medium sized team of about 35 systems engineers, software engineers, subject matter experts, and other supporting disciplines including information systems security, systems administration, and technical writing. You will be an integral part of that team working to support an active mission.

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $200,000 - $285,000. The final salary will be determined based on various factors.
