Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Flight Assurance) to support one of our aerospace partners on-site in Midland, TX . The Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Flight Assurance) will be a critical role to scaling production of one of their satellite constellations in a high-growth, cleanroom manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities for the Associate Manufacturing Engineer include:
  • Develop and execute quality control processes to ensure safety, performance, and mission reliability of satellite components.
  • Perform inspections and audits on assemblies and subsystems in cleanroom environments.
  • Support testing activities (vibration, thermal vacuum) and assist with integration and compliance documentation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Qualify new or modified products through the full production lifecycle.
Qualifications for the Associate Manufacturing Engineer include:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality engineering environment.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and basic quality tools (calipers, CMM).
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
Compensation for the Associate Manufacturing Engineer include:
  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 *depending on experience*
