Senior Extreme Engineer, you'll lead in-depth analysis and optimization of route switch protocols, ensuring efficient data transmission. Your expertise in DRV (Dynamic Routing Verification) and SPV (Switching Protocol Validation) will be crucial in maintaining network integrity and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge solutions and troubleshoot complex issues, ensuring the highest levels of performance and reliability in Extreme Networks environments.
• Facilitate a seamless transition from Cisco to Extreme Networks, leveraging extensive knowledge in both platforms.
• Evaluate existing Cisco infrastructures, identifying areas for migration and optimization to align with Extreme Networks standards.
• Lead the planning and execution of migration strategies, minimizing downtime and ensuring a smooth shift in network environments.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers during the transition, fostering a skilled team adept in both Cisco and Extreme technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges specific to the migration process, ensuring a successful integration of Extreme Networks solutions.
