Description

There is one thing you do that's exceptional: lead. You know how to creatively strategize, motivate District Sales Managers, and elicit success. You propel tactical direction and bring unity to complex business relationships.

Role Overview:

The Regional Sales Director will report directly to the Head of Sales and be responsible for strategically building and leading a highly performing regional sales team to successfully launch the first potential commercialized product from Legend Biotech in a specific geography. The RSD will be externally focused and responsible for leading a group of Cell Therapy Account Specialists (CTAS) to exceed sales goals. The RSD is expected to continually develop the collective and individual skills within their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of competitive strategic plans and marketing objectives, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and market dynamics.
  • Effectively communicate and reinforce performance expectations, marketing strategies, and tactical execution plans during management and sales meetings to drive clarity and accountability.
  • Oversee and manage the regional operating budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial discipline to support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of regional business plans, guiding the field sales team in executing defined strategies and tactics that deliver measurable results.
  • Design and implement account-specific business plans, grounded in a deep understanding of local market forces and customer needs, to drive targeted growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to build and sustain long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration across the marketplace.
  • Analyze and evaluate business plans to ensure the team is set up to deliver on expectations consistently and to exceed sales targets.
  • Engage and inspire employees, fosters collaboration, influences others and integrates functions, teams, people, processes and systems to drive superior results
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry commercial experience in Sales, Market Access and/or Marketing
  • 3+ years of proven pharmaceutical sales management experience
  • Prior management experience in Oncology
  • Proven experience in successful product launches
  • Documented successful track record in sales; and history of being a top-level performer
Desired Requirements:
  • Ability to manage a diverse field team through strong leadership
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

The anticipated salary range for this role is $220k-$260k
