The Clinical Operations Manager will lead, support, and develop Clinical Directors across assigned centers. This role is responsible for achieving performance objectives, overseeing growth, and fostering a positive workplace culture. A portion of your time will include direct patient care as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) or other clinical duties, with the remainder dedicated to leadership and operational synergy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage clinical outcomes and daily operations of Medical Directors in multiple centers.
  • Ensure successful clinical operations, meeting or exceeding market earnings targets.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to Medical Directors to enhance clinical performance.
  • Facilitate the development of PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through training and performance management.
  • Foster a physician culture aligned with our core values and service standards.
  • Assist in training new practitioners and participate in the recruitment process for clinical staff.
  • Build relationships with payers, specialists, and community organizations to support clinical initiatives.
  • Address workplace concerns and uphold a positive market culture.
  • Manage center-level referrals and provide backup for utilization authorizations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Supporting market quality and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Reviewing scorecards and delivering clinical metric analyses.
  • Providing training to other organizational entities.
  • Utilizing local market insights to drive clinical strategies.
  • Achieving outstanding clinical outcomes and providing patient care as a PCP (20% of the role).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar specialty required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Director with Medicare or Medicaid populations preferred.
  • Board eligibility required; board certification preferred.
  • Active medical license in the relevant state.
  • Proven leadership experience as a high-performing physician.
  • Experience in population risk management or chronic disease care management preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and analytical skills necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) required.

SALARY: $250,426 - $357,752
