Our Financial Service client is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join their team.

Position Title: ServiceNow Developer
On-Site Location(s): Charlotte (Brevard-Uptown), Dallas (Irving-Westlake Office), Chandler (Price Rd.)
On-Site Schedule: Hybrid (3 days a week)
Contract Duration: 12-24 months - W2
Candidate Citizenship Options: Open to H1B and H4
Group's responsibility/Current Project and Timeline:

  • This group sits within Enterprise Functions Technology and is responsible for supporting ServiceNow GRC, specifically their issue management tool. This tool is tied to RCSA and this person will be owning RCSA within ServiceNow for multiple groups across the Enterprise. The ideal candidate will be someone who has 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with the following skillset below, will have experience creating customized workflows, come from a GRC backgrounds in ServiceNow(meaning issues management, Risk Assessment, Risk events and looking at what is an out of the box feature), and is a true consultant of ServiceNow.
What are the day to day responsibilities?
  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and solutions with a specific emphasis on integrating GRC features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that leverage functionalities.
  • Building out customized workflows and pages from scratch to extend ServiceNow modules tied to GRC.
  • Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs and middleware, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure the stability and reliability of Gen AI implementations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and project teams on GRC aspects of ServiceNow development.
What are the top 3 must have skills?
  • 6+ years of experience as Software Engineer
  • 6+ years of ServiceNow Experience (not in a ticketing environment but more on a full workflow design background)
    • Looking at out of the box features and how to bring data in and data out and how to construct UI/workflows
    • Mapping experience
  • Financial services experience
What are the nice to have skills?
  • CAD Certification in ServiceNow
  • GRC Experience (Issues Management, Risk Management, Risk Events, IRM, ERM)
