Position title: senior .net developer with web and desktop experience
Location: jersey city, NJ
Onsite: 3 days a week Must have: .net, C#, WPF, Winforms

Seeking a hands-on developer with strong experience in both web and desktop applications (preferably desktop but good with approximately 75% web / 25% desktop). This role requires a seasoned professional who can work independently and support an expanding team.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web and desktop applications (no WPF required).
  • Support existing applications using Agile methodology (Scrum), including Jira ticket maintenance.
  • Perform code reviews, sizing tickets, and collaborate with offshore QA teams.
  • Work remotely with strong business acumen, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Handle big data analytics, OLAP cubes, and Unix terminal tasks (including Bash scripting).
  • Communicate effectively in English and work on phone-based tasks.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in desktop and/or web development.
  • Fullstack .NET C# Dev, specifically with desktop apps like WPF, Maui, Winforms. Not against Web devs, but we run a different ecosystem than most web shops.
  • Strong understanding of Agile practices and Jira.
  • Unix experience and scripting skills.
  • Ability to work independently without hand-holding.
