Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in leading the assembly process for products and components. As a Manufacturing Team Leader II, you'll influence both the work environment and the team members under your guidance.

In this role, you will:

• Guide and support manufacturing employees in various processes and operations.
• Delegate tasks and provide clear instructions on work techniques, quality standards, safety protocols, and cleanliness.
• Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and fixtures essential for the workflow.
• Engage in direct labor activities to maintain efficient work flow, ensuring timely project completion.
• Review the work of others, ensuring adherence to quality standards before products leave the department.
• Assist in evaluating team members' performance against established goals and job expectations, collaborating with the supervisor.
• Carry out supervisory duties, with guidance from the supervisor, excluding employee discipline and time approvals.
• Conduct internal audits as needed and document findings for quality improvements.
• Identify and report materials, processes, and product issues that potentially disrupt production.
• Support accurate production posting and inventory management within the team.
• Communicate discrepancies in drawings or BOMs (Bill of Materials) to Engineering.
• Optimize resource use by appropriately handling equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to team success by training others in inspection tasks as necessary.
• Document processes by accurately completing production and quality forms.

We are looking for someone who:

• Exhibits strong interpersonal abilities and can effectively coordinate activities in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
• Can read and interpret complex drawings and schematics and relay this information to others.
• Possesses intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Understands and can apply corrective and preventive action processes.
• Has 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Has prior experience in team leadership, which is desired but not mandatory.

Physical demands of the role include:

• Medium to heavy physical demands as classified by the US Dept of Labor.
• Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds with assistance, frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds, and carrying up to 40 pounds for short distances.
• Continuous standing and walking, with frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Frequent use of hands for gripping, manipulation, and power tool operation.
• Collaboration for two-person tasks utilizing assistive devices for lifting and moving.
