Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, efficient, and scalable applications across on-premises and cloud environments. This role involves hands-on development, architectural design, and leadership in software craftsmanship practices. The ideal candidate thrives in Agile environments, embraces cloud technologies, and is passionate about building high-quality software that meets performance, security, and scalability standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and effective software using Java, C#, Python, .NET, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.
  • Enhance and modernize on-premises and internal PaaS applications; migrate applications to AWS according to project timelines.
  • Implement serverless architecture patterns from containerized applications.
  • Build and manage industry-standard APIs, including routing, connectivity protocols, and policy enforcement.
  • Design architecture optimized for SLAs, reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Anticipate downstream and upstream consequences of technical decisions to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Promote a culture of software craftsmanship, including TDD/BDD, Test Automation, CI/CD practices.
  • Monitor application performance, analyze metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Ensure security standards and compliance with privacy regulations are integrated early in the development lifecycle.
  • Resolve and prevent technical debt proactively.
  • Actively participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration, communicate technical information clearly, and lead code reviews.
  • Create usable documentation and playbooks for team knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between usability and performance and communicate findings effectively.
  • Administer product upgrades, patches, and provide 24/7 on-call support.
  • Support team members with troubleshooting, production maintenance, and other technical tasks as required.


Required Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Java, Full-Stack, C#, .NET, or Python development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Core Java, JEE, JSP, JavaBeans, Swing, Hibernate, Spring, EJBs, Struts
    • Front-end: AngularJS, Angular 4+, Node.js, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap
    • Web: JSON, AJAX, XML, CSV, W3C web standards
    • Cloud: AWS (Cognito, API Gateway, Amplify, EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, EventBridge, X-Ray, Quarkus), GCP (CloudScheduler, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, BigTable, Bucket)
    • Microservices, API design and management
    • CI/CD: Jenkins, CircleCI
    • Test Automation: JUnit, TDD/BDD methodologies, WireMock, Mockito, Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, ReadyAPI
    • Source control: GitHub, GitLab
  • Other Skills:
    • Experience with relational and object-oriented databases.
    • Agile development tools (VersionOne, Agility).
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Competitive Edge):
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift and MQ.
  • DevOps experience in automation, code testing, and deployment.
  • Industry experience in airline software systems.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and client UX operating systems.
