Role Overview

As the Quality Manager, you will take on the responsibility of leading and inspiring a dedicated team of 18 direct reports, encompassing both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) specialists. Your leadership and vision will be instrumental in refining and optimizing the organization's quality management systems to ensure they meet and exceed industry-leading standards. With an emphasis on maintaining the highest levels of product integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction, this role will enable you to leave a lasting impact on the organization's operations and reputation in the automotive industry.

Key Skills and Experience
  • IATF 16949 Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in implementing, managing, and auditing quality systems that comply with the rigorous IATF 16949 standards. This includes ensuring that processes consistently meet regulatory and customer requirements while driving continuous improvements in quality management practices.
  • People Management: A proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring a diverse team of professionals. Your ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members will be critical in promoting collaboration, enhancing productivity, and achieving organizational objectives. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to foster a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • PPAP & APQP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). These methodologies are crucial for ensuring that new product introductions and manufacturing processes are efficient, reliable, and aligned with the highest quality standards. Your expertise in these areas will contribute to the company's ability to meet customer expectations and maintain operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's Degree: A relevant bachelor's degree is a fundamental requirement, providing the necessary technical foundation and understanding of quality management principles. This qualification reflects your commitment to professional development and your capability to excel in this critical role.
