Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? At Advocate Health, we are looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to join our dynamic team. Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

What We Offer:

  • Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Sign-On Bonuses: Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus with distance-based relocation available and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for PM shifts.

Schedule: Full-time, evening shifts (8 or 10 hours) with on-call expectations primarily overnight. Expected call and weekend duties will be assigned as per staffing needs.

Your Role: As a Surgical Technologist, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist in the efficient setup and organization of the operating room.
  • Support the surgical team with instrument handling and anticipate the needs of the surgeons.
  • Contribute to patient care by ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and supply integrity throughout operations.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience necessary; we welcome motivated individuals ready to learn

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
