As a Lead Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in documenting and analyzing the financial health of our company. Your responsibilities will include reconciling financial data from our various income and expense modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive financial reporting and analysis.
  • Oversee month-end closing processes and consolidation with the parent company.
  • Actively interface with the parent company and collaborate within the finance department.
  • Assist with bank audits, inventory assessments, sales tax audits, and annual external audits.
  • Prepare and present Ad Hoc financial reports as required.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Accounting or VP of Finance.

Your Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the accounting field, particularly in business operations.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required.
  • Preferred: CPA or CMA certification.
  • Experience in public accounting, especially with Big 4 or regional firms, is highly valued.
  • Expertise in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and GAAP principles.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, functions like IF and SUMIF, and macros.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Intermediate proficiency in financial management software such as PeopleSoft or MS Dynamics AX.
  • Strong skills in SQL and Tableau.
  • Experience with accounting automation software like T-Recs.
  • Familiarity with inventory management in a retail setting.
  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions and consolidations is helpful.
  • Understanding of business licenses and CT Corporation services is preferred.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience and background.
