Job Overview In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with high precision and care, always prioritizing patient comfort. Key Responsibilities Conduct high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians. Accurately prepare and position patients to ensure optimal imaging outcomes. Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Operate and regularly maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring all devices are properly calibrated. Review and store images following quality assurance protocols. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines. Document patient information accurately and complete necessary reports. Collaborate effectively with fellow radiology and healthcare professionals. Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and imaging methods. Qualifications Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography is required. Licensure: Must hold current state licensure as mandated by law. Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program. Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years working as an X-ray Technologist in an outpatient or clinical environment is preferred. Skills and Competencies Solid understanding of radiologic procedures, anatomy, and proper patient positioning. Proficient with imaging software and radiologic equipment. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, focused on patient-centered care. Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing various priorities. Detail-oriented and well-organized. Dedicated to maintaining patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Knowledge of additional imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI) is advantageous.
