POSITION SUMMARY

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating an engaging and positive shopping experience for our customers. Your main focus will be to maximize sales while maintaining a neat and organized store environment. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries, ensuring product availability, and executing operational tasks efficiently.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement: Proactively assist customers in resolving issues and ensure their needs are met promptly.
  • Provide information on promotions, products, and services while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Efficiently process transactions at the point of sale.
  • Support floor replenishment and shipment activities to enhance customer satisfaction.

Brand Standards:

  • Uphold the visual merchandising standards as per company directives.
  • Participate in inventory replenishment and maintain cleanliness on the sales floor.
  • Have a strong understanding of our products to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Promote current events and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement.

Growth Contributions:

  • Reduce loss in-store by providing exceptional service and maintaining high operational standards.
  • Keep the store organized and safe for both customers and team members.
  • Meet or exceed productivity targets as set by management.
  • Work towards achieving daily sales goals.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster positive relationships with all team members.
  • Be flexible in taking on various roles and responsibilities as needed.
  • Support management in executing store directives.
  • Mentor and guide fellow associates towards success.
  • Adhere to company policies, especially those related to safety and security.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail or specialty apparel experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate a retail environment effectively.
  • Frequent walking, bending, and reaching may be required.

AVAILABILITY CONSIDERATIONS

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Changes to availability must be approved by management based on store needs.
  • Shifts may range from 3 to 8 hours in length, with no guaranteed minimum hours.
