Data Entry / Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

Join a dynamic team that provides American-made medical equipment and laboratory products to various industries including pathology, histology, necropsy, autopsy, and mortuary. We are seeking an Order Entry Specialist to assist with the transition to a new computer system, Visual II, by uploading customer certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and upload customer certificates into the Visual II system.

  • Reach out to primary customer contacts to retrieve necessary information.

  • Handle potentially thousands of certificates due to a substantial backlog.

  • Scan and upload certificates into the new system.

  • Maintain strong customer service throughout the process, which may require persistence.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 1+ year experience in an office setting or clerical role.

  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

  • Strong computer skills, particularly with the MS Office Suite and Outlook email.

  • Ability to manage 3-4 email chains concurrently.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience in a manufacturing company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Data entry and order processing experience.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Clerical and purchase order experience.

  • Professionalism in handling tasks and communication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
