Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, event-driven applications, and modern backend engineering practices. Experience with Prompt Engineering will be an added advantage, especially for teams integrating AI-driven features.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and optimize microservices architecture with high performance and reliability.
  • Design database schemas and manage data operations using MongoDB.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Implement API integrations, including RESTful and asynchronous communication.
  • Utilize Prompt Engineering techniques to integrate and optimize AI-powered features (LLMs, automation workflows, etc.).
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17).
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security.
  • Experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, performance optimization).
  • Experience with Apache Flink for stream/batch data processing pipelines.
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Prompt Engineering, AI model integration, or LLM-based workflows (preferred).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, SQL databases, or Redis.
  • Experience with GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
  • Understanding of security best practices and API authentication (OAuth2, JWT).
